fuel injection probs- coupe gt

all i'm saying is within a few hundred miles, I'm sure you'll need new
injectors if you want your car to perform and start on the first crank.
Injectors can be had for reasonable prices from wholesalers and are easy to
put in if there's no insert. Bad injectors can give the same
symptom...maybe the injector is gummed up, but under enough pressure, open
up more, so the injector might be just sluggish, causing a rough spot at
around 50% open.

It could also be a gummed up plunger, vac. leak [maybe at injectors], fuel
system problem. To diagnose CIS, you need a special fuel pressure kit. I
found one for $55 and has helped me eliminate problems w/ my warm-up reg. I
just think CIS injectors need to be very new to work right. As Haynes would
say, it is a false economy to reuse old injectors....
