V8Q 0-60 times

I forget who asked about V8 0-60 times, but the 5-speed will blow the door
of the slush.  I recall looking for that info, and (forget the source) as I
recall, it is 6.7 sec for the 5-speed.  Someone mentioned the 4.2L (another
slushbox) as taking  7.3, and that sounds about right for the bigger engine
with auto.  My '90 3.6L slush was in the neighborhood of 8.2, as I recall.

And just in case you haven't reached your limit on fascinating but totally
useless trivia, the 5-speed doesn't even share the same *technology* for
its center differential.  It uses a torsen dif, while the slush uses a
computer controlled clutch pak

Strangely enough, the 0-60 info just *might* be found in the owner's
manual.  I know the top speed is (151 for the 5-speed, which is 4 mph
faster than my '86 911 cabrio).
