Another question about shockabsorber installation...

Hi!
I recall reading somewhere that when one installed the strut insert into
the strut it is wise to put some type of oil into the housing to assist
heat dissipation from the insert to the housing. Is that right? If so,
what oil to get in there? Haynes manual just says clean out the bore
before pushing in the shock absorber.
I fetched my new set of Dykeveld springs last night. Price-wise not bad
for about $100 compared to the other options starting at $200. Time will
tell whether they stand up to it all.
