It's those twin mufflers, er turbos ;-) Perhaps that is why the R8
remained static yesterday while others drove the San Jose city
streets...didn't rumble enough to shake the earth. 

While quiet, the R8s certainly have set some fast times at every track
they have been to and I don't expect this weekend to be an exception...I
wonder if Fangio's Toyota Eagle GTP sportscar track record will fall at
Laguna Seca this weekend? The CART record is safe I fear (unless they
remove the air inlet restrictors and crank up the boost...then watch for
Helio's track record to go down too, but it won't happen since it would
then not be a LMP class legal car). The excitement is building and
tomorrow morning is closer...
