There was a couple of tracks of this type in the Binghamton, NY area.
THey use a polished tile floor, and they even lube it with WD-40 while
you run. Indoor is a smallish oval, outdoor is a mini road-course with a
banked turn. These cars are LPG powered and still manage to be
accelerating by the time you have to brake and turn in. They do respond
to weight transfer techniques, and I found them fastest with left foot
braking and proper lines. The times I have run there, with other SCCA
club members, we've tended to blast the field. It's real hard to catch or
pass each other though. Guess that says it all.

BTW, the bump spin so perfected by the NASCAR maven, the "Intimidator"
(a.k.a. Dale Earnheardt) works at these tracks too! Just don't make it
look like it was on purpose (come to think of it, isn't that what they
say at the big tracks too?!?!)
