That makes perfect sense.  I had to replace my cap after it 
overheated do to a failed/fried fan relay.

It seemed like I had some kind of a chronic overheating problem, 
until I replaced the cap.  It has, until now mysteriously, not had the 
overheating (which was really probably overflowing) problem.

But then again, it's cooled off a bit since then (weather-wise).
