Consensus on the air-bag light issue?

Larry and all...my 1991 200 20v is still experiencing the atypical problem
that I reported a month or so ago. When first started, the AB light comes on
(at least 90% of the time) and stays on for approximately 1-1/2 minutes, then
goes out. Occasionally, (about 10% of the time) it doesn't come on right
away, but comes on for about the same length of time a minute or so after the
car has been running. Once it has had its 90 seconds of fame, it disappears
for the rest of the trip. Longest trip so far has been about 5 hours; no
matter how long the trip, if you turn the car off, the same sequence occurs.
Any thoughts? Regards, Tom
