OK Ben, that's about what mine is good for.....although the mod does
improve the low RPM performance through spark advance. And it pulls pretty
good in second past 3k RPM. Once you get it rolling in first, you can be up
to 3k in second pretty quick, and from there it is all neck-snapping time.
I have no idea what it does for top speed, as IMO the track is the only
place for such tests.
The actual times I don't have....I look more at pounds of boost at any
moment. I don't feel comfortable beyond about 15. For me it has always been
just the actual experience of getting that kind of performance from my car.
I don't do stop lights, but mostly let it out getting onto turnpikes from
the on-ramp. I enjoy watching those guys behind me shrink in the rear view
mirror, and being able to pick my spot in the turnpike traffic.

I'll second that. I've been using a similar setup. You set your level of
destruction - mine set around 20 PSI. Any higher and it's detonation time!
Make sure your knock sensor is working ok.
I installed a 1.6 Bar Charlie spring which gives faster spoolup. I will
soon be trying a 2 Bar spring.
No negative effects on gas mileage, drives like N/A car around town. Seat
of the pants acceleration is pretty good, but don't consider this a 0-60
car, but more of a 30 - 130+mph car. Once the turbo get spooled up - yee
hah, look out!
