I have a 95 90q too. Mind did the same popping noise. Part of my porblem
was the
passenger side cat. These cars are famous for this problem. After
replacing the stock
cats w/high flow models $150 each vs. $1000 each for the stock ones (did
both sides
for consistant flow) This took care my hesitation too. In addition I added
a cat back
exhaust system which helped even more!
My car has coilovers too and the difference is unbelievable!!! The stock
suspension
in the 90 in no good (preformance wise), mine was a little stiffer being a
sport model
but nothing like the koni's and hypercoil springs that I have now.
No getting around the fact that the brakes suck on a 90!!! Hopefully that
will be
fixed soon too : )
