I was sure rubbed the wrong way by Brett's intollerent post and now read
"Audi A4 <a4 at d-9.net>" posting back indicating that at least some
q-listers had the heart to help... Nice way to drive 'em off Brett. How
would you feel if one of us did that to you when you joined not so long
ago?

I'm glad someone stepped up to help this person out. Given the magnitude
of OT posts here from time to time I really didn't have much of a
problem with an Audi owning q-lister asking for help outside the world
of Audis. Over the years I have been here I have seen requests for help
in re-location advice, employment advice, computer help, and just about
everything else under the sun imaginable. Obviously the intent is to
talk Audis and keep on-topic. However, if it becomes so sterilized that
we are unable to seek one another's help from time to time for fear of
massive flames from "#2" (and others) then this list may as well become
a FAQ or moderated message board.
