Don't forget that one single large hole at the back...

There is a reason that Audi never made the obvious hatchback version of the 
Coupe GT/Urq, and that is rigidity. A rigid bulkhead behind the rear seat, 
especially when connected to the lower edge of the rear screen, stiffens 
the body considerably. From experience with several Golfs and Jettas...
