Burned out buld indicator

In the vein of the "computer afraid of the dark" post, on my '84 5KS (it probably has the same controller as yours) I used to get this light everytime I would go into the Callahan Tunnel (a long tunnel that goes under Boston Harbor). It never failed, would leave the tollbooth and at the mouth of the tunnel the "bulb burned out" light would come on and stay on until I exited the tunnel. They did a major re-hab of the tunnel, after that the light never went on again. I suspect, by looking at the gauge of the wires in this system, and the trunk mounted control box itself, that it was some sort of emitted frequency that must have been setting mine off. My wife used to say that the 5KS was just claustraphobic. Does it always seem to occur in a particular area? Any strange black helicopters around the docks....?
