Need Advice

I'm new to this list. Personal circumstances (divorce) force me to sell my
beloved '89 Porsche 911. I need something more practical for two kids,
groceries, etc.

I saw a '97 A6 with 42K miles for a bit over $20K at a dealer. Obviously,
the car is a bit sluggish. But are there any items I should be wary of?
Except for acceleration, the car seemed "nice" for this sort of car.

It has leather, Quattro, power seats, and factory CD changer in trunk.
