Engine mount (actually the "stop") problem

Hi folks,
I checked the archives and Bentley but there's not a word about the
problem I've encountered.

89 100 (NF engine - but applicable to all other I5s)

After installing new engine mounts, the engine "rises" up on it's mounts
and a thud is heard at the top of it's travel. The problem is a
missing "stop". It fits over a shaft on the front of the engine and is
surrounded by a hood type bracket (open at the bottom) and mounted to
the frame. It's design is to, well, stop the engine from rising up on
revving.

Family Album shows the missing "stop" as PN 811 199 339 B and appears on
Illus. 22-10 (#18) or Illus. 44-00 (#9).

Has anyone ever replaced this part? Is it as simple as removing the
hood bracket and sliding a new stop on the shaft, or is this a "Team
Door handle" job requiring engine removal?

tia,
Mike Murphy
