Fuel cutoff- what triggers it?

Well listers,
My mechanic was looking at the car today and I asked him about
the lower wastegate hose. It was, of course, bad.

I'll have to see if that fixes the problem.

At least my radiator fan problem was fixed- bad thermoswitch.
Probably got toasted by a nice douse of hot coolant and then
colder water when I tried to refill the radiator.

By the time I'm done with this car, everything will be rebuilt.

Anyone want an '86 5ktq? 189k miles, cosmetically a bit rough
on the exterior (a few dings and a dent in one of the quarter
panels) but mechanically quite good now. LOTS of new parts-
alternator, A/C compressor, radiator, hydraulic brake booster,
hydraulic pump, pump to rack hose, A/C seals, battery, brake
rotors (ATE powerdiscs), brake calipers (upgraded to G60s),
front brake lines, fuel injectors, injector cooling shroud,
hose to cooling shroud, headliner, Bilstein sport shocks,
and probably a few other things
that I forgot). Oh I forgot- it has the sport interior. Zermatt
Silver w/ Graphite two-tone sport interior. Have Bentley manual,
owner's manual and many thousands of $$$$ in service receipts.

Taka
'86 5ktq
