armrest removal 200Q

I need to get inside the front door of my '89 200 and reconnect the 
linkage to the lock cylinder.  I can't quite see how the armrest is 
attached to the door, though.  There are three small holes in the 
underside of the armrest, but they look a little small to contain the 
usual type of screw that most cars use, and on top of that, the holes 
don't angle toward the door, but seem to be completely vertical. 
Someone who has had one of these off tell me how it works before I 
end up breaking something.  Thanks.
