No kidding. Sometime ago I read a post in Subi (usenet) group where a
self-proclaimed Subi car salesman claimed he took the (new) Legacy 3.0
6-cylinder to a local track for a spin. At the track, he also invited
several by-standers.

He says one ex-Audi racer couldn't believe it and said, "he wished he had
this system (not the engine) in his Audi." Another comment? He claims
Subaru is aiming high -- on or about BMW, Mercedes territory with that new
3.0 Legacy. (I almost peed in my pants reading that.) Talk about amazing
claims! I was gonna tell him to submit his science finction to somewhere
sun doesn't shine, but thought better of it since that was posted in Subi
stronghold...
