If the tip is too short to fit into the long Audi boots, just use a short
screw and you'll be able to use any tester. But, the adjustable one I got
from JCW works fine w/ my wires, and I can see it thru the windshield while
cranking the engine. It was a $5 tool which I ordered when I got my CIS
pressure gauge. It works fine, but the thing I don't like about it is that
the scale on it doesn't make sense [the tool must be made in malaysia or
something]. I can't really tell exactly what the voltage is, but I can
estimate. There's a better one from Moss [the old Brit. car parts supplier,
www.mossmotors.com]. It's adjustable, but don't know how big the tip is. I
think it's $15, but it can be bought cheaper wholesale thru Moss
distributers like the BHive, Shadetreeemotors, etc....
