Test drove one yesterday for 40 miles. Not especially impressed. We
have around 200 20V ur-quattros in the UK club.
Low end torque is a little better, but the car is no better balanced
than the MB version - which is a lot cheaper. A good MB ur-quattro
will cost between GBP8000 and GBP10,000 - but you might have to pay
up to GBP16,000 for a good 20V.
It's not really 'shoehorning'. The RR engine (a derivative of the 3B)
fits into the ur-quattro's engine bay somewhat better than the MB
(which could best be described as an MC-1.5). The crossflow design
means there's a lot more room to get hands and fingers around the
engine, especially on the right side of the car.
