Bang for the buck, now that's a different story.  My point was to imply
that neither Vette,  Camaro, Trans Am/Fire Bird, or Mustang, would
destroy a RS-4, M3(new), M5, E55, or CLK 55. Whether it be straight
line, on AutoBahn, etc.  The exception maybe being the Viper.  Of the
Germans, (3) are luxury(V8) cars with 400 or less hp, (2) being
automatic, (2) being 4drs, all (3) specialty cars. You'd expect a vette,
Camaro, Mustang to be fast. Most pp,l atleast in the U.S. wouldn't
believe an Audi, BMW, or MB/DC would be able to compete with the
American muscle, especial if they see a 4dr, then an Avante/Wagon.......
