Connery was the first and best Bond. Lazenby, an Aussi truck-driver was
selected following a massive search to replace Connery. He was pretty
sorry, as Larry Leung noted, but no worse, in my personal opinion, than
Roger Moore. I think that the current guy (can't remember his name -
barely remember mine) will be alright, tho. Mike Torio's right, he
mentioned that Dr. No was pretty close to the book. I thought it was the
only one that came close, even tho, as noted, Thunderball and Goldfinger
had moments. But they're all just "bubblegum" movies...
Did love that S8 in Ronin. Good flic.
