Looking for experience/opinions for snow tires for my 200Q (MAC)

- Goodyear Ultra Grip Ice
- Nokian NRW

My situation is limited snow (but it happens, usually 2-3 at a time),
mostly icy/wet conditions when it precipitates, and a lot of time dry
(2/3). Of course, this could change, as the whole El Nino/La Nina cycle
is over, but I haven't been in this part (lower Hudson) of New York State
in over 10 yrs, so I really don't know what to expect in a "normal" year.

My experience with Snows, all from within the snowbelt of NY, Binghamton:

Continental Contact TS740 - okay snow, slick in the wet, okay dry -
generally doesn't like to turn

Vredestein Snow Plus and Snowstar + - Good Snow, Slick wet, slightly
sloppy dry.

(Kelly-Springfield) Pacemark - VG in snow, okay wet, okay dry, not bad on
ice. - I'd buy these again, but I can't seem to get them here. They were
the bargin priced surprise when I bought them. Had two sets, one on my
4KQ, the other on my 200Q, happy with both sets.

Yokohama Guardex 600 - don't know on snow (didn't snow last year, and
they're on my GTi as a "gift"), don't know wet, P.O. (of tires) says
awesome on ice, to me really numb and squirrely in the dry.

MIchelin Artic Alpins - okay on snow (hates turning), good ice, okay wet,
very good in the dry, on a Subie Legacy AWD autobox.

If you know anything about the above tires vs. the ones I've listed
above, please let me know.

Also, does anyone know of a Subaru list, or if the headlight switch on
the 1st gen Legacy's are a problem?

TIA,

LL - NY
