No, but I've heard of one ECU that gave a shorter 'start' pulse than
normal.

Yes, I saw this last Friday on a MAC12D.  In my case, it was incompetent
'chipping' - whoever had patched the tables had forgotten (or didn't
know how) to recalculate the checksum.

Left side of left footwell.  Pull the door trim away - one screw hidden
in the carpet at the base of the panel.
