First of all I would like to add that I do not have snow tires, last year I
did, and it handled a little better though the problem was present but this
year it is much more pronounced. How can I tell if my alignment is messed
up. I do know the wear and tear of the tire is much more towards the inside
as compared to the outside, but I figured that all german cars do that
because I was told that the wheels move outward at high speeds. like these
slashes /----\ the slashes are tires...sorry couldn't think of a better way
to explain. I also am aware of the fact that my car has really bad control
arm bushings, tie rod bushings, and I am not sure about the subframe
bushings.Would I need to change these? Would I need to change links or ball
joints also? Is it possible to pin point the problem so that I can at least
get through winter without major expense? Would I need to change all the
above mentioned parts to get my Audi to drive like it should in the winter?
BTW the car has 75000 miles original on it. Do you think that these things
go bad at such a low mileage(for the age atleast).

It was really scary when the car started to slide side ways Whew!

Thanks.
