5KTQ 86 heater core replacement instructions?

Hi there,

I am totally new to this list, subscribed last week. I have a 5ktq, had it 
for a week now. While still studying the pages at smjautoteknik.com to do 
preventive stuff the first thing went: looks like a hose to the heater core 
from the rear of the block burst. I replaced the small curved piece leading 
to the valve shaped thing but another hose is shot as well. The seller gave 
me a new heather core, looks like he took it out of the circulation as it 
was leaking (surprise).

Anyway, the archive does not have any info on this replacement, other then 
it takes a few hours and is not very popular. I will do it (without the 
Bentley which I have to get first but can't wait).

I don't even know where the core is located and whether I pull out out from 
under the dash or whether it sits on the other side of the fire wall.

I would really appreciate a very brief pointing of my nose as well as 
suggestions for stuff to do while I have it out.
