My '87 5Ktq has the flat trunk floor AND enough depth to the tirewell to
lay in a full-sized wheel and tire. Don't know if it came that way, but it
was that way when I bought it.

My '91 200q20v came with a flat trunk floor and the minitire, but it had a
foam plug to go into the wheel rim and help support the plastic trunk
floor. I took out the mini and the plug and laid in a full-sized wheel and
rim. Plastic trunk floor fits as original.
