You'll commonly find these rumors all intertwine.

For example, the S8 "avant" on AudiWorld is, I believe, a photo Tom 
Nas did for us back in April in photoshop.

He reported that he got some nasty calls from the dutch importers, 
who were furious that their customers had seen/heard of his pictures, 
and were demanding A8 avants.

I suspect someone just "added" a sport grille(or Tom's photo happened 
to have one in the first place.)  Notice the lack of an S-badge.
