Fairly large article (Used Car Classics) in Grassroots Motorsports last year on the DSM Talon/Eclipse series. Very fast but fragile. Echos Taka's comments.

Robert,
I don't know how reliable your Talon has been, but IMHO, the DSMs are
total POS.
I'm talking from personal experience: '92 Talon TSi AWD on its second
tranny and fourth transfer case in a total of 61k miles. Also, third
turbo, second exhaust manifold. At least my Audi doesn't eat its drivetrain
every 20k miles.
When they work, they are really fast cars. If you know someone who wants/
needs a parts car, the '92 is available for parting out. I wouldn't sell
the complete car to anyone, as I would catch some seriously bad karma for
that deed.

If you're talkin' new, I dunno- but if you're talkin' used I disagree.
Small displacement turbo plus AWD can have you in the 12s for under $10k-
that's car and parts. Go see dsm.org.
