I have no idea about the speedo gears, my hard copy of the fiche shows
only one gear. I usually think in terms of one size lower in the aspect
plus
on size up in the width ='s "close enough". So in that progression,
225/50 was close. I tried 245/45x16's, the diameter was perfect, but the
width was way too wide with the unmodded wheelwell lips and the stock
off set.
