i say he's full of s**t! no special tools required. you can use one of
those one man bleed kits or have the wife pump/press the pedal. it's that
simple. it's probably priced right if in fact he has a hydraulic pressure
bleeder but i'd
avoid him just out of principle and chances are he'll do it the conventional
way anyway and only bleed the front calipers.

Subject: Bleeding Brakes and ABS
Hi Fans,
I have a 1993 90 sport Q and was just told from a local repair shop that
due to the abs you need
special tools to bleed the brakes..... I just replaced the front pads's
and rotors and have air in the lines.... Will it work to use the old
fashioned method of having one person press the pedal
and one to turn the bleeder valve???? He said that the abs would not
work after this.. He wants $110 to bleed the system and replace all
the fluid..... Is that a good price???
My abs is definitely not working now due the the air in the line.....
Thanks for your help in advance
