door lock

Chris...I have been in the process of replacing my driver's door lock on my
200q20v avant for the past week, a few hours per nite.  Have a copy of your
1998 (I think) detailed step-by-step which has been really helpful.
However, try as I might, I can seem to figure out the replacement of the
stamped "lock clip".  I've got everything else back in place and ready to
tighten up, but the lock clip will not tighten on anything?  Any
suggestions?  Thanks.
