oddball part(s) needed

[Rave Racer 2000]

    My 89 Jetta 16v has the same identical linkage to my 87 4kSq.  VW's are
more common place than living human beings here so finding one in a junk
yard wouldn't be to difficult.  It seems to me that a local hardware store
carries tiny ball and rod ends just like the cruise in my cars aswell.  you
might want to try that if for only a couple of bucks you can get a fresh one
with no rust or anything.
