Hi folks, and thanks for all the great notes and ideas.  After 
digesting it all I've decided to get real snow tires for winter, and 
probably another set of wheels as well.  I expect that after a few 
years of paying for mounting and balancing twice a year, buying extra 
wheels will save money.

I love the A4, and the way this baby handles is very comforting.  I'm 
glad I got the sport package.. what a joy to drive!

Thanks again for all the great help!!  You folks are super.  I'm 
looking forward to reading this list for a long time.
