Hi Andrew;
I can tell you what I did to the t-belt cover on my 200q to get a durable
repaint.
sandblast
treat with Dupont Metalprep
2 coats Corlar epoxy primer
2 coats Dupont polyurethane primer
3 coats gloss black Imron
It came out nice and shiny and tough as nails. Imron is nice paint to work
with.
