Sorry to hear about your unfortunate incident.  Don't know much about
replacing the windows but WRT preventing future breakins - I think the
only thing to do is to have an ignition immobilize (sp?), never leave
anything valuable in the car and don't lock it!  It sounds stupid to
leave your car unlocked but in your case, for example, the thieves would
have opened the door (saved your window), rooted through the spare fuses
and kleenex in the glovebox, taken the $1.37 (Canadian) from the ashtray
and left without damaging the car.  I once heard a saying that locks are
meant to keep honest people out, because the dishonest people will just
break in anyway.  Save them the trouble of having to break in and don't
leave anything for them to find
