titles (no audi content) may be useful for some older Audi's

There is a company in Nevada called International Title Service. They
provide you with a bill of sale for your motorcycle. Here's how it works (I
think)
You go to there website and fill out the bill of sale
(http://its-titles.com) and send it to them. Basically you just sold them
your motorcycle.
They then send you a bill of sale from New Hampshire. Apparently in New
Hampshire you do not need a title for vehicles over 10-15 years old. (please
no flames I'm going from memory and very well could be wrong) All the info
is on ITS web site.
You then take your new bill of sale to the NY DMV and apply for a new title.
You should check with the NY DMV to make sure that all you need is a bill of
sale and then tell them, you bought the bike from someone in New Hampshire,
which you did. ITS charges about $75.00 for their effort. They check the VIN
to make sure the bike is not stolen and has no liens against it and it takes
them about two weeks to send you the bill of sale.
I have no affiliation with ITS I'm just a satisfied customer.
Just for your reference there is an e-mail list ,almost as good as the
q-list, at the Vintage Japanese Motorcycle Club web site.

howdy. i am currently working on a '74 honda cb175 motorcycle that was
given
to me by a friend. it has apparently been chained to a fence for many years
and has no title. it is in pretty decent shape, and i really like the bike
for tooling around NYC. i cannot, however, register the bike w/out a title.
does anyone know how to get a title for this thing? i have heard that there
are websites where you can do this, but i cannot find them. any advice?
anyone who can help? TIA.
