What year CGT do you have?
I'm guessing it's the 87.5, being that my 86 only has one fan speed.
I've only had a problem like that once, and it was when my battery died. I
turned the car off. Came out to start it and nothing happened. Jumped it,
and the radiator fan came on when i connected the jumper cables. It stuck
until I unplugged it.
After I replaced the dead battery it never happened again.
