A4 CD Changer

I have a 96 A4Q with the Bose Stereo/Cassette. I would like to add a CD
player, but rather than starting over, I understand that a trunk-mounted
6-CD changer was an original option. Does anyone have any experience with
adding this unit after the fact? Do I need to buy the changer through Audi,
or can I source an aftermarket unit? Is the wiring harness already in place
to the trunk?
