Bottom engine cover on 90s

After struggling with this one too many times...

Does anybody have any tricks for reinstalling that plastic cover on the
bottom of the engine on the 90's?!?  Whenever I do it, it's a real pain, and
there doesn't seem to be enough room to slide it in easily.   Oil changes
would be easy if I didn't spend all my time putting that thing back on...
