Before I get to the content of the message, I'd like to point out to the List 
Manager that I can't do anything about the "bcc" aspect of messages I post to 
the list. It's an offshoot of my ISP and comm software. I do *not* bcc messages 
to the list; they just come out that way. Because of this, please do not reject 
my messages to the list because of this.

It was a 500cc *six*-cylinder engine. I've seen one in person, albeit not 
running. Reportedly it could do 23K RPM, and needed to do at least 8K RPM to 
keep from stalling when starting off from a stop. 
 
JOOC, did Audi itself ever make motorcycles? (I know that NSU and other parts of 
what is now Audi did.)
