Revolution in England

I've just listened to the 14:00 new on BBC Radio 4 - I can't
believe I live in a 'free' country.

The fuel shortage was mentioned, of course - but the fact
that the M1 both north and south is completely blocked by a
"people's demonstration" was ignored completely.

I've been sitting here for over two hours - the news services
are telling the population that the fuel crisis will be over
shortly.  Fine - but what about the truck drivers and even a
large proportion of car drivers?

I've never seen civil disobedience on this scale before.
Everyone is very cheerful and solidarity seems absolute.
