'Overwarm' V8q

The arrest me red 90 V8q I'm checking over tonight has one glaring
problem (so far). It is running hot. Freeway - 100C. In town traffic -
110C, stops go to 115-118C. AC on or off. Elec fan runs with AC on.
Outside temp today - 95-98F.
I'm thinking of the viscous clutch on the fan over the radiator, maily
due to the lower temps on the freeway. Its been my expertise that a
partially clogged radiator will run hotter on the freeway than in town.
My other V8q runs 80 - 90C in hot weather with AC on.

Any other ideas? Ways to check the viscous clutch fan?
