The slushbox and extra weight makes the world of difference.
It's an apples and oranges comparison between a 90q20V and A6QW.
The V6 12V makes a bit more power and gobs more torque than
the I5 NA 20V.  There would be no question which would be
the faster car if each engine was to be installed in an
identical chassis.  Neither engine is particularly "tunable"
for more power without serious $$.
