Actually the 2000 Outback automatic splits the torque 90-10 with the 90 to
the front. However you could also order rear limited slip as an option. The
2001 Outback VDC H6 is certainly the more sophisticated system with a 55-45
bias. Nonetheless I doubt that the average driver could tell the difference.
Like the Audi, the AWD sensation is seamless, however I still feel that
Audi's system is more sophisticated but that VDC system must come damned
close.
BTW is Subaru closing in on Audi territory?
