Xenon headlights

AFAIK, the human eye is not very sensitive to blue wavelengths, and blue
light being short wavelength tends to scatter a lot from the road surface.
You can't see squat if you use those trick blue bulbs at night. I seem to
recall they are illegal in some jurisdictions.
