actually you can get HID conversions that fit into any H4 lens. I think I
saw it actually for motorbikes and were $300. These will fit right into
euro lamps. And these are real HID's w/ ballasts and all.
just for the record, i have no problem w/ euro's or xenon's. I fully agree
that the patterns are much better. Actually I will be converting to euro
lamps, the 4x6 kind. Since their mass product design and they're not really
a special order item from europe, it's cheap. I don't think there's much
difference between the 4x6 and the aero lights, esp. since they're not even
that much bigger. I've seen cars w/ 4x6 lights w/ very adequate lighting.
And I'd have to totally disagree as far as looks of the 4x6 lamps. It's all
perspective though. If you live in Europe and are used to all those huge
lamps, the 4x6 lamps look cheesy, but for me, it just reminds me of the
cheesy, fading lamps found on Volvo's, etc. Again just my perspective.
