Xenon/HID conversions

There are many such kits available. They range in price from about $450 for
a unmodified kit (u need to hack up the headlight housings to get the bulbs
to fit) to over $1000 for Japanese kits. I currently have a kit from a place
called Phoenix Microlite on my '92 100S that I converted to UrS4 projector
headlamps awhile back. The kit ran me $590 (w/ a group purchase discount),
and basically was a snap to install. The kit included 2 Philips D2S xenon
capsules, and 2 Philips made ballasts/igniters. The D2S xenon bulbs come
modified to fit the opening for whatever your low beam headlight bulb is
(9006 in my case). Only difficult thing was the UrS4 housings have a rear
cover over the lamps/wiring, and the fit with the new xenon bulb/connector
was pretty tight. I am pretty impressed with the light output of the lights
