That's what the side and top ones do.  The bottom one both channels
ram air and also protects against rocks.

It also contributes to the heart attack factor by making any and every
water exgress from the front of the car look like it's dripping off the
radiator.

Astounding how many fans run in reverse - found three that blow instead
of suck in the last couple of months ...
