H4 bulb longevity

any high wattage bulbs will have a shorter life. The standard 60/55w bulbs
carry a warranty by hella, but they don't have anything for the high
wattage bulbs such as yours. But I've also found that some bulbs, even the
standard wattage bulbs, can burn out quicker than others. It might be
partly design or handling. Clean the bulbs right out of the box w/
denatured alcohol or anything w/ zero residue [vcr head cleaner is usually
the same thing]. And if your concerned about having to buy bulbs all the
time, buy the standard Hella bulbs. Susquehanna Motorsports has these for
reasonable prices. And it would be a good idea to have an extra set around
just in case. They don't have to be good ones, but just something to put in
there so you can see till you get the bulb you want. good luck.
