The bolt size is the same. This is certainly worth investigating. I think
a copper crush ring would probably space the banjo joint out far enough that
it would avoid the rough part of the casting. I didn't consider this option
because both the Bentley and the Audi dealer warned me not to mix and match
the two types. I'll give it a go (when it stops raining) and let you know.
